Tell me,why is life so busy???

This is my day.
Slept in till 6.30 (truly a blessing after a month of 5.30am starts!)
Get up, get breakfast, check emails, do banking, make lunches, do load laundry, pack dishwasher, get child dressed (actually - she did that! She has to be self sufficient in this house), get to school drop off ...

Do drop off, liase with parents on costume, pick up coffee (YES!), drive an hour,

Drop last of course work off, visit my mum and dad (best part of day!)
Do a little shopping, lunch with mum, wedding and bridal shower talk (for my sister)

Drop into spotlight. Discover they have nothing for the shower, drive an hour home.

Go to post office and chemist. Almost get to school on time for pick up. Make calls.

Dress for ballet and take miss e to ballet.

Go pick up ribbon for athletics tomorrow.
Feed chooks. Clean bathroom. Tidy lounge (playdate tomorrow!), unpack dishwasher, make dinner.

And I still have laundry to fold and streamers to make for athletics day tomorrow! Oh and bake for the cake stall. Forgot that!

I need another hour in the day.

Le sigh....

18 mths of study ....

too many exams,
endless assignments,
over 140 reflections
400 hours clinical placements are complete!
I have finally completed all the requirements to become a nurse.

Now you know why there has not been a lot of organising going on here!
And I can't wait to get my home in order. I only finished today and have started already!

Save time - do it online.

Maybe I am very comfortable with internet payments from years of working in a bank. I love to pay my bills online. I have a dedicated credit card with a very small limit, solely for the purpose of online purchases.

When you work, study, take care of a home (sort of), try to be an involved mum ... and even spend time with your husband, family and friends ... time is precious.

Case in point. Renewing my driver's license. I used to put this off. It would involve a trip to main roads, and without exageration a MINIMUM of one hour in a queue. (yes my US friends - that is how WE spell cue!)

Today my renewal arrived. It took me under five minutes to renew. It was quick, easy and I am DONE!

So far this morning I have checked our acccounts, renewed my licence, transferred some money into savings, looked at accomodation options, and checked out tickets to Mama Mia. (Just need someone to go with me now ... MUM - You interested??!!!!)

Look into online payments. If you don't trust them - share your fears with someone educated about them and see if you can find a way to use them within your comfort zone. The time savings (and money savings - no overdue fees - no buying something cause you are out) are worth it!
